Jeff Lady is a Kansas native and graduate of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee. After attending The University of Kansas Jeff completed his education at Point Loma University in San Diego, California. Following a career as a professional singer and actor that took Jeff from the Walt Disney recording studios to Super Bowl XX, he attended the University of San Diego School of Law and pursued a career in Hollywood as an entertainment attorney and talent agent. While in Los Angeles, Jeff worked with film, television, and theatre actors at the highest levels, worked in television and film production, and produced special and benefit events. In 2019 Jeff entered recovery from drug addiction. He now works in full-time ministry with The Salvation Army Eastside Corps in Kansas City. Jeff runs the Celebrate Recovery outreach program and spends quite a bit of time working not only one-on-one with addicts in recovery but also leading and facilitating groups throughout the Kansas City area. Jeff also created the not-for-profit Lady Lake Farm which is in the process of turning his south Johnson County, Kansas property into a country farm retreat for leaders in recovery. It is Jeff’s honor to work with and minister to those in recovery and in particular, those at Benilde Hall.
